About the founder, Laura
Laura Maren Sommer is one of the few German-speaking lawyers who not only guides her clients through German law—but also through the legal pitfalls of the United Arab Emirates.
After completing her legal training at the University of Tübingen and the Higher Regional Court of Stuttgart, she honed her legal skills at leading law firms in Berlin and at the State Bank of Baden-Württemberg. She has been living and working in Dubai since 2022, where she most recently worked for two of the most prestigious law firms in the German-speaking region of the UAE.
Laura understands the real-world challenges faced by German-speaking expatriates, investors, and entrepreneurs: from wills under Sharia law to Golden Visa residency programs and legally sound business formation.
